Terms of Service

These terms apply to every order placed with Copper Bottles through copperbottles.uk. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them first.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Adding an item to your bag is not a contract. When you complete checkout we send an acknowledgement email — a contract is formed only once we confirm your payment has cleared and your order is accepted.

We may decline an order if the item is out of stock, if there was a pricing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we decline your order after payment, we refund you in full.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay. Delivery is free on UK orders over £50.

Payments are handled by Fena using open banking, so you pay directly from your bank app. We never receive or store your card or bank credentials. Every order total is recalculated on our server from our own product prices before payment is requested.

If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before dispatch and you may either confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

We ship to United Kingdom addresses. Orders are normally dispatched within one to two working days, and delivery typically takes a further two to four working days.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, and you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of bottles that have been used to hold liquid, unless the item is faulty. This does not affect your rights in respect of faulty goods.

Our bottles are handcrafted from pure copper. Small variations in hammering, finish and tone are a characteristic of handmade work, not a defect. Copper naturally develops a patina over time; this is normal and can be polished back.

Product photography is representative. Colours may vary slightly between screens.

Health information is not medical advice.References to Ayurvedic tradition are provided for interest only. Do not store acidic drinks such as citrus juice or vinegar in copper, and consult a doctor before changing your routine if you have a medical condition affecting copper intake, such as Wilson's disease.

If your bottle arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault, contact us through our contact form with a photo and your order number. We will repair, replace or refund it.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover normal patina, dents from drops, or damage from dishwashers, abrasive cleaners or acidic contents.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses such as loss of profit or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

All content on this site — text, photography, layout and branding — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it commercially without written permission.

You agree not to misuse the site, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping it at scale, or interfering with its operation.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring a claim in your local courts.
